Thoughts are Powerful

How many times have you been left with a hollow empty feeling upon achieving one of your goals? Where did those joyous exuberant feelings go that you were expecting? Instead of striving for that material goal, focus on what you want to feel. Don’t get me wrong, I like material things too. But we often search for our happiness outside of us, when we can only truly achieve that from within.

What is it that you really want? How do you want to feel? What do you want your surroundings to be like? What kind of people do you want to be surrounded by? Go into your heart space, breathe, sit for a while. What is your heart and soul asking for, yearning for?

Let your goals evolve into dreams, dreams that continue to grow along with you. A goal shouldn’t be something that we reach and then we’re done, keep moving forward. Keep building and expanding on those goals and dreams, keep growing.

A common thing I see, is people focusing on what they don’t want, and what they can’t do.
I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be around negative people. I don’t know what to do next. I don’t want to be in debt. I don’t want to work here anymore. I don’t want to be alone. I don’t…..’
How heavy and yucky does all that feel?

Everytime we tell ourselves, “I don’t… or, I can’t”, whatever follows is what we focus on. It pulls us backwards, keeping us stuck, bringing more of what we don’t want. Change that mindset!

Ask yourself: What can I do? What can I change? What can I shift? What do I want? What do I want my life to be?

Thoughts are Power!

Switch those thoughts, reword them into positive forward moving statements.
What DO you want?

  • I want to be where I feel ……
  • I want to be around people that…..
  • My next step is…. (even just a baby step, the next baby step will show up after that; could even be just getting out of bed in the morning)
  • If I knew what my next step was, it would be…..
  • I want to work in a fulfilling and supportive career and environment.
  • I want to be content.
  • I want to feel fulfilled and purposeful.
